Matt graduated magna cum laude in 2003 from Neumann College in Aston, Pennsylvania. He received his Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) at The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, in 2012.

Matt is an Eagle Scout who has always believed in giving back to his community. He has volunteered with various organizations, including as a volunteer firefighter, starting at age 16. He grew up in the family business and is currently serving as a proactive wealth advisor. He believes understanding individual goals plus client education can lead toward achieving goals. He also believes that following a disciplined investment approach can help eliminate emotionally based decisions, which can greatly reduce one's chances of success.

Matt holds FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and 66 (Uniform Combined State Law) securities registrations. He also holds insurance licenses for accidental health, life, fixed annuities, and variable life/variable annuities.

Matt is a nationally registered paramedic (NRP) and Pennsylvania state-certified paramedic, having graduated from the Thomas Jefferson University paramedic program. He is able to put his paramedic training to use as a volunteer firefighter/paramedic and fire police lieutenant for the Rocky Run Fire Company in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is a member of the company's board of directors. Matt is also a state advocate for the Everyone Goes Home program with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. The goal of this program is to reduce the number of preventable firefighter line-of-duty injuries and death.

The animal rescue community is fortunate to have Matt as an active, passionate member and advocate. He volunteers with several organizations in the animal rescue community, for which he fosters cats and helps place them in loving homes. He conducts home visits in a 100-mile radius for Mastiffs to Mutts, a dog rescue located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. He assists in dog transports for several rescues in the Northeastern portion of the U.S. that pull dogs from high-kill shelters in the South and take them to no-kill rescues in order to find them loving homes.

Matt is a member of the Rotary Club of West Chester, where he is also a member of the Community Philanthropic Committee. This committee evaluates grant applications to help financially support worthy, non-profit organizations in the Greater West Chester Community.
